Nice T-shirt paul1960, talking about charity, there are many charity walks and runs around this time of the year. I went for an 8.67 Kilometer walk this morning, but for a few minutes during that walk, I ran about 3 times for 3 or so minutes just to keep my legs in running mode. During the walk this morning I was stopped by a genuine charity for mentally handicapped children, the leader of the group asked me for 10p, I had £3 in my pocket and gave her £1, she was going to give me 90p change back but I told her to keep the pound and she was very grateful. By the way according to Mapmywalk, I burned 510 calories with 12206 steps on that just under 9K walk/run, it took me 1 hour. 49 minutes and 44 seconds, more walking than running.
