Milestone parkrun t shirt advice please

Hi all, I have just received an email to claim my milestone 50 t shirt. I purchased an Apricot t shirt a few months ago and the sizing information was perfect. I selected a size medium for the Apricot and it fits me perfectly. The sizing guide for the Milestone 50 t shirt is different. The chest measurement is taken flat. When I measure the chest area of the medium sized Apricot t shirt lying flat it measures 50 cm. The size guide for the Milestone t shirt is M=48.5 and L=51.5

I would really appreciate any advice from you all. I’m thinking medium but just want to be sure.

Thank you. I’ll have to check my Apricot T-Shirt again. There is an M on the back near the collar. I thought it was meant for Medium, but seemingly it’s for Male. So I could have a large Apricot T-Shirt all along.

My (latest bloke’s model) apricot shirt has an L on a small silver circle inside the collar. Dexy’s has the same on her (much smaller and differently styled) ladies version. So pretty sure those Ls are for large - there don’t seem to be any sex identifiers. Her 50 shirt has a W for women where mine has an M, and M for medium where mine has an L.

Yeah I’m just home now. My Apricot is definitely a Medium. Looks like I will be ordering a medium so. Would you say the 50 Milestone and Apricot are sized similarly?

Unfortunately the 50 t shirt and the Apricot t shirt are not sized the same. Probably a different manufacturer. My medium 50 t shirt arrived this morning. It was a little too tight. The sizing guide was confusing, I was in between. So it returned and on its way back. I asked for a large instead.

Don’t worry damienair, order the medium and they let you return it if it’s the wrong size. They do separate ladies ones so I can’t help. Mine’s arrived - love it.

Thank you so much. I have just ordered the medium. My medium Apricot fits perfectly. Stanley has a large size in both milestone and Apricot so I should be OK. Looking forward to getting it now.

Medium was unfortunately too tight. It fits, just looks too tight. I was in between sizes. So it’s on it’s way back now. I’ve asked for a large instead. It’s a pity.

Yes it’s got to be comfy for running in Damien. I still haven’t worn mine yet. Last week I wore the New Forest race shirt and this week it will be tourist shirt again. I want to wear it at parkrun for the first time so maybe Saturday week.

I’ll hopefully have mine by then too. I’m looking forward to running at my local parkrun this weekend. It’s been 9 weeks. I’ve been running at parkrun every week but I was touring around. I’ll stay local for a few weeks.

I’ve just ordered a small Damien. The V25 I got a few weeks ago was a small and it fits fine. Very annoyed I still can’t get a small apricot!! Hope they get some in soon. Sorry, I’m very late and you’ve probably got it by now so probably not much help...🤔 Hope it fits ok 🤞

I ordered the Medium. I think I was in between sizes. It came this morning but it was just a little too tight. So I have returned it in exchange for a large size.

That’s useful to know. Hubby Katnap is about to get his V25 and is normally a medium. The kids 10 shirts come up very big so it must be very hit and miss.

My Apricot t shirt was a medium and it was perfect. I found the sizing guide for the apricot t shirts were excellent. However I was very confused by the milestone t shirt sizing guide. Hopefully I’ll get my t shirt back soon. I’ll aim for my V25 t shirt next year.

From what I’ve seen the apricot is better quality (understandably) so guess they put the investment into that.

I have the same body size as you. Did the t-shirt fit you in the end? I get a little confused when I choose a t-shirt size that suits me. It is a pity that many sites do not provide an accurate size chart, so very often I have to request a refund. Thank God I found a great site matohash.com/pages/screen-p... where I can easily choose the size that suits me and even choose the t-shirt print that I want. Now all the t-shirts I order only from these guys.
