Welcome and well done you...

You need to go onto the C25K site... as this section is for Graduates of C25K...:)

healthunlocked.com/couchto5k

Then... please check this post out.. the link on how to run 5K is very useful.

healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Please do check with your GP, that you are okay to start this:)

If all is well, then... slow and steady is the mantra... just relax and take the plan very very gently. Listen to your body and take your rest days..take more if you need them.

The right shoes are essential.. they are your best friend:)

Keep posting your runs for great support and encouragement too :)

PS

Take a look at our sister sister too... Weight Loss NHS...linked with this many folk find it helpful!

Hi Sweetie70, Welcome! As Oldfloss says the Couch to 5km (C25k) is our starting place, then this forum Bridge to 10km is for when runners feel ready to work towards 10km. All the very, very best with your running journey. You will find the links so helpful. I have found reading the experiences of others so very encouraging. There are plenty of folk with weight they want to lose and also those with medical issues. It is just amazing to see their progress. One run at a time, slow and steady as Oldfloss says. Happy running to you! I wonder if you have downloaded the app for C25k to your phone yet? All the very best!😊🏃‍♀️
