I am baffled as to how this plan works, but it blooming does! I have never run 6k without stopping in my life before, but today I did. Breathing was easy and I felt as though I could have carried on. Nearly fell over looking up to watch the Red Arrows go over again (they are doing lots of practice at the moment) but averaged 7.24/km with almost identical times for each km. I was definitely in the zone. Itβll probably all go pear shaped on the next run, but for now I am very happy ππ
Week 2 complete - 6k in the bag π - Bridge to 10K
Week 2 complete - 6k in the bag π
You should be..go you..π
Well done ... thatβs a really good speed you got going on there too π
Well done, very speedy compared to my time. I did it but a lot slower!
πππ Good work, and well done! Such a lovely achievement, to run beyond 5k. The programme is magical. π xxx
Well Done Sandie, if you carry on that pace for your long run you will be running 10k in a few weeks. Be careful about watching the red arrows while running though, we donβt want you to run into a lamppost.
I used to work in Cyprus where they trained on their new programme. The best!
Good run and time. I find it hard to gauge starting pace when attempting a new distance so tend to be a bit conservative. Makes it easier to achieve PBs in the future though! I think that you have this under control.π
Sounds like you had a great run there Sandie. Nice that you found the zone and held it too. It is amazing how the plan really works... weβll be running 10k before we know it π Roll on week 3 βοΈβ‘οΈβ‘οΈ
Well done Sandie, good going. Just finished my week 2 also with the 3k interval run. Now looking forward to Week 3 x
Huge well done, see you did it and you will get to 10k..... π₯
