Throughout the C25K you guys kept me going, and recently I have found inspiration here again to help me across this bridge.
I actually enjoy running in the rain, but I find it very hard to get motivated to get out there if it is raining before I start!
Today’s post by Ktsok inspired me. As many of you may have seen, she has been trying to run at a steadier pace in order to increase the distance. I don’t seem to have much trouble with that as slooowwww is my default setting! So I thought I would try and see if I could match her pace, just for a while! I am naturally a very slow runner so this was a real challenge for me. Thank you KT I loved it!! I managed to match a similar pace to yours....... except I was all run out by 2.5km 😂😂
Mixing it up like this keeps it fun!
Back to the steady 5k at my own pace tomorrow.

Interesting experiment! I think it's a great idea to mix things up and try new things. Bet you'll enjoy your 5km pace next time. I keep meaning to do a bit of interval training, but keep putting it off! Maybe you've inspired me to give it a go on Wednesday's run...
I have taken a lot of inspiration from these boards too. Great place to visit and I try to give back when I have the time and remember. The time spent by the mods/admin should also be mentioned, they are fab and also an inspiration.
Aw, that made me feel all warm and fuzzy! So happy you got out there and loved it. You were my main buddy all the way through C25K and it made the journey so much better. Thanks Ella 😘
I agree, it's inspiring to have this forum and hear that other people are finding ways to improve and having the option get involved or just read and use people's thoughts and experiences to build confidence and ambition.
The other important part though is the kind affirming encouragement.
