Tried new route tonight through and around local town. I was meant to run 15mins walk 1 repeat 3 times. Last one I just pushed on. Ball of left foot was burning but I was so close. Probably get told off for pushing it but I'm so proud of myself. 12 weeks ago I was outta breath going up the stairs. I have worked so hard and changed alot.

Well done, you've done brilliantly!!

I know what you mean about the risk of injury, and obviously, don't injure yourself!! Having said that, sometimes the benefit of feeling good about yourself outweighs the temporary pain, so rest up for a few days, and bask in the glow.

p.s. You're really really fast!!!

Wowzers you were moving!!

Well done Johnny. I bet you are feeling pretty awesome.

Hope the joints aren't too stiff by the morning 😳

Great Job

Well done, that is a great pace! I would only caution you to rest now and maybe ease a little on the following runs. The last thing you want is an injury taking you out for months. Great work just the same though!

Brilliant times you’re doing. With regard to the burning in your foot, ehst are your socks like? Cotton ones could help cause that - a sort of chafe or maybe a bit of padding needed. Don’t forget to ease back on effort every now and again to give your body a rest.
