A rather nippy 5k . . .

That’s nippy as in temperature, certainly not my speed! Getting to my usual running location is about a 15 minute drive, it was just one degree when I got in the car this morning. I decided to go and dig my running gloves out and they were certainly needed and they didn’t come off until I got to about 3k. It was a beautiful morning though, sunny with a little frost, perfect early morning running weather but with gloves When I got back to the car at about 8.30 the temperature had nudged up to around 3 degrees, autumn seems to have started all of a sudden. Stay warm out there fellow runners

Wowsers, and i thought Chipping norton was the coldest place on the planet, next to Siberia, but it was 6/7 degrees this morning. Not that I was out in it as I had to clean the house for a viewing at 11.30 today.

I'm guessing you aren't actually running ON that track.

I think Northampton was the coldest place this morning! . . . No, not actully running on the track, there's a path at the side, although the trains only run at the weekends and then very slowly, they only have about 1.5 miles of usable track! Good luck with the viewing.

wow that is chilly! I prefer running when it's cooler (disclosure I only started running in May so have no experience of proper cold weather yet). looks like a nice route.

Just gloves and a hat I find are what is needed, generally the gloves come off about halfway when I have warmed up
