I'm on week 4 of Juju's plan and usually do a short run on Monday but I checked the weather for the week & noticed that we are due an unseasonal 19C on Wednesday when I should do my 8K. So went a bit loopy and decided to do it last night instead. Really pleased I did, although the first 3K were pretty sluggish I managed to find a bit of oomph for the last 2K and finished in 58 minutes. I felt I could have carried on easily but I'd told my husband when I'd be back & didn't want him to worry about me (also worried there would be no curry left for my dinner!).
I'm starting to look forward(!) to the 10K race in November.
Happy running everyone

Well done Jeffbird, the long one done and dusted and a nice easy run for Wednesday. I do my 2nd 8k tomorrow and am looking forward to some warmth after last week’s cold winds
I was quite pleased with my time till I clicked onto a segment(?) link on strava by mistake & it showed me the fastest recorded time for part of my route was a 1/3 of mine (& it was a PB for me!) 😂
