Laying out of the running kit

Been struggling with motivation last couple of weeks as the change of seasons take effect. Have a houseful of grandchildren this week and lovely though it is, I can’t wait to get out tomorrow for my early Sunday run! Laid out all my kit (a great ritual) borrowed husbands running belt so I can clip my alarm onto it. Will be running by the river so feel bit more comfortable with an alarm if it’s not quite light. Feel a bit of the old excitement returning 😁

Up and out for 6.30. First 4K was a bit of a slog but settled in to the run and managed 9k. Really enjoyed being out. Light rain was wonderfully refreshing and the cooling wind in my face was very welcome on the way back. Thanks for your support, so motivating x

I did 6 miles in the woods, it was lovely and fresh, quite muddy too. Only downside was all the scary looking men that passed me en route to paintballing 😱

Sounds great - and like you had a great run. Glad the running belt/alarm thing worked (assuming it did? 😆). 🏃‍♀️👏😂

It was great thanks! It stayed in place and was easily accessible !! Thankfully I didn’t need it but it made me feel better knowing it was there !
