So I know you will have some top tips to share for those on the journey from 5 to 10....?

I would really really appreciate it if you could do a really short ( or long if you are in the mood) selfie vid for me that I can then use as a medley to share with those on the Magic Number plan?

If you are nervous about being on camera you could always do it Crimewatch style!!!

If you aren’t comfortable doing a vid can you reply below and I will form that into a post for Magic? 🔥

If you can help can you message me and I’ll let you know what to do.... really super easy and will help the new people enormously....

Thankyou in advance,💥🔥

Juju

I’m afraid I’m terrible on video, Juju! 😳😳😳

Trying to think of some good tips, but your plan all seemed to make the whole 5 to 10k journey quite simple. So I guess my first tip would be to follow ju-ju- ’s magic 10k plan! 😊❤️

I think for me it was also helpful reading everyone’s posts on this forum, and realising that if I could run 5k then there was really no reason why I couldn’t build up to 10k - just as so many others had done after graduating C25k. So knowing it’s possible and believing in yourself and the plan you are following (whichever that may be) is also important.

Perhaps the third most important thing that got me personally to the 10k mark, was realising that I like to sip water when running for longer. So buying a cheap hydration vest and taking 500ml of water with me in an old hydration bladder was certainly important (especially for longer runs in the hotter weather). I guess learning to experiment with what suits you best would perhaps be a better tip, as our needs all vary.

Sorry - that’s all I can think of right now...

I'd be a gibbering mess on video Ju-ju, but here's my biggest 'takeaway' from doing your 10k plan:

At the beginning it can appear like you're doing C25K all over again - another 5km. It isn’t anything like that, because you are already a runner. Getting from 5 to 10k was way easier than doing C25K. As ever, trust the programme and you will succeed.

Hi Juju

I have taken note of your B210K plan and did W1R1 today - 2.5K.

Thank you 😊
