hello folks,

I've managed to do a few 10K runs by myself in the park... and it takes me about 1 hour 14 mins. So my problem is now.... what do I do next.. I was thinking of running 2/3 times a week, with a repeat 10K each week... or should i try to increase my distance? any suggestions welcomed :-)

You can stay where you are - or stay where you are but go faster - or go longer. Many people where you are at go longer :)

Well done. I do 12k now after increasing my 10k. I will do two shorter runs a week and one long one, that’s enough for me. It depends if you want to enter 10k runs or longer. Good luck.

I’ve done a couple of 10k’s - now I’m focusing on speed / endurance, the aim being to do a town@gown 10k in October in 55mins or less. Current PB 1hr 8mins, but that is cross country. Then maybe a half marathon next spring?

I’m still at the new to 10k point too, so am sticking to the 2 shorter runs / 1 x 10k per week for a bit. I’ve not decided which way to go after that yet. If I were you then I’d be desperate to ask for my shiny graduation badge though! 😃❤️
