Well I managed to up my 50 mile challenge to 75 and even beat that so I am looking forward to my medal, ice towel, running belt etc coming in the post.π
This next month I am looking to do the 100 mile challenge with a bit of power walking thrown in and hopefully a little bit of running at the end of the month. I still get the occasional twinge when I move in a slightly different direction but can now stand on tiptoes for quite some time and also I have forgotten and run upstairs gently without any pain so I am very hopeful. But I am still resisting pushing myself too soon. Iβd sooner wait the couple of weeks longer than set myself back again.
So last week of September watch this space as I am aiming to be back in C25k and puffing along in my way to fitness again.
Glad to hear you are back up and running though OldFloss

Youβre doing brilliantly, Lou! All that walking has got to help your legs. Not too much longer to wait until running again now...πβ€οΈπββοΈ
Power walking sounds a great compromise, if you feel youβre not quite safe to start running again yet? You can really push things power walking, and get a good aerobic workout too (especially if any hills are involved). β€οΈ
Hey itβs great to hear that your recuperation is coming to an end and you will be back running again soon . The c25k plan sounds like a good way of returning. In the meantime just enjoy that walking. πΆββοΈ
Thanks. Iβm suffering with pins and needles in that ankle, several times a day, for this last week. No idea why, Iβve not done anything differently and itβs not hurting or swollen.
