Lost in the woods

I'm on Week 2 of the 10k challenge.

Today as I have the day off, I thought I would get my longer run out the way (6k).

Feeling very positive, I thought I would try a new route which would take me along a trail way, through a wood and then back on the road for home.

Unfortunately, it went slightly array in the woods when I lost my bearings and had to stop once or twice.

Even so I did a distance of 6.02 k in 40 mins but I think I will give it another go before moving on. C'est la vie

Sometimes it is good to be lost but going in the right direction and and you were ! Great run

Well done getting out there and trying a new route, despite a few issues. 😊❤️ I’m sure a 6k run with a couple of navigational pauses still counts, so don’t feel you have to repeat it just because you got lost. ❤️

I got lost last month, my 5k turned into 7.5, so I think you did just fine. Onwards and upwards I would say! Well done.

It sounds like a fun run TSword. The only time I’ve run in the woods was on a Parkrun so no fear of getting lost. I really liked the softness of the paths under the trees; far nicer on the knees. 🌲🌳🌴🏃‍♂️🌳🌲🌳
