Really enjoyed that! Ran all the way up the steepest side of Cannon hill, disappointed as Garmin seemed to screw it up as on the segment it said I was at 11.2/km when my average for 1st km was around 8 and the hill is over 1/2 of it! But got a 400m PB and upped the distance to over 4km so back on track. Had to bring Monday run forward a day as have my 1st shift as a volunteer in a vaccination centre tomorrow. 1st time I will have been ‘out to work’ for 7 years (I usually work at home) so I will probably jump out of my skin when the alarm goes off! Does jumping out of your skin constitute exercise?
Lovely 4K into the woods: Really enjoyed that... - Bridge to 10K
Lovely 4K into the woods
Fantastic, a PB yay 😀, I’m off out later to try out some intervals, time to mix things up a bit . As for Mr Garmin 🙄 Good luck with your new role tomorrow, (yes jumping out of bed counts, just don’t pull a muscle 😘) I hope it goes well, feeling very grateful for all the work and volunteering going on at the moment, heartfelt thanks to everyone involved. 🙏 🤗🤗
Great uphill run, well done. Thanks for volunteering at the vaccination centre, all the best for the early alarm call. Happy running 🤗
I used to be a nurse many moons ago so thought I should put my skills to work. Only going to be a Marshall looking after those who have had the jab but good to feel useful!!
Sounds like a lovely run.. and you definitely get extra exercise points for the alarm call. Thank you for volunteering.. well done.. and stay safe..😊
Brilliant Running Phdgranny, enjoy that day at work 👍
Great that you did a 4k with hills to boot. Also marvellous to hear that you are working in a vaccination centre. I can't imagine a more positive thing to do right now!!!!
