I started B210K on Sunday and dud the 2.5k running intervals and quite enjoyed it and felt like I’d run further than I had! I decided to do 5k today and kept putting it off as it was 25c and too hot! I waited until 7:30 (only 23c) and set off. I felt really good once I got going and no toxic 10 the first time I looked at my watch I’d already been running for over 15 mins. I couldn’t quite believe how good I felt so decided to do the 5.5k and made it easily. I’m quite proud as this is the furthest I’ve ever run!! 😆👟🏃♀️

Nice going. I get the toxic 10 every time, but I'm beginning to laugh at it now as I know it will pass. B210k is great - enjoy!

I call this the runners tipping point (actually only just thought of it, but never mind, it’s true anyway) that moment when you realise you can go further and for longer, C25K is brilliant in getting you to the 30 minute mark in a really structured way, and we all slavishly obey our coaches, but with the Bridge programme, you retain some structure but also have flexibility and you take control of what you want to do. Fantastically well done on the 5.5k, the question now is , will you restrict yourself to the two shorter runs 😀😉👏🏻👏🏻🏃🏼♀️
