My neighbour decided to move on to week 5, I gave her the lecture about running consecutive days and left her to it. The wind was behind us going and it felt really great, I tried to keep my pace down because today I wanted to run without walk breaks for at least the first half hour. It's been an interesting morning, I got up, opened all the windows, made tea and took it back to bed, then I heard a lot of people calling through my open sitting room window, there were 2 women and a beautiful cat just outside, now it's communal gardens but walled and fenced and very private so I got up and went to see what they wanted. The cat wanted to visit. To cut a long story short which involves me meeting people in pyjamas bottoms and a ratty old teeshirt, but the cat has gone home.
I pondered on that as I ran, and when I got to 3k turned and hit the wind, it was a battle to get back with walking breaks but it felt good. Lots of people out today, when I reached 5k I stopped, took some photos if the sea and went back for my friend, who is absolutely buzzing, I've told her in no uncertain terms she's not to run tomorrow. The rain came down as we got in the car.
I got another tick on the World cup thingy, so that's 10.2k this weekend, I'm happy.
Happy Sunday VRB's

If your neighbour is not using the c25k forum, she is missing out on all that useful guidance . Well done for passing it on. I didn’t discover it myself until week 8 so I just relied on what the lovely Jo Whiley told me.
The markings on that cat are amazing, just like that of a leopard.
Looks like you got your run in just before the rain.
Don't think I haven't mentioned the C25K forum Dexy, but there's only so many times I can mention something before it becomes nagging, that cat is beautiful, I wanted one of those when we were looking for a kitten but upwards of £1500 seemed a bit too much at the time .It's been raining ever since we got home so I'm glad we went out when we did, I'll be glad when this wind drops a bit though.
I just couldn't justify a pedigree when there are so many unwanted cats/kittens/dogs/puppies. Mind you if that striking Bengal cat wants to come back I don't really mind, most people keep them indoors because of their value.
Lovely photos, especially of that cat and the stormy seas pounding on the rocks, certainly not weather to be out on a small boat, great run for you today SueAppleRun, well done despite the wind, do tell your neighbour not to run on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, well done regarding the World Cup,
This morning I went a short 16K bike ride in showery rain, I saw six runners but no other cyclists, perhaps the rain kept them at home.
The bike ride could have been better, there were 3 showers during the bike ride, once I got back home I had to change what I had been wearing while cycling, not much, a light jumper, a T Shirt, shorts and shoes, all soaking wet, however, once I got home the sun shone and now all my clothes and shoes from this morning are dry, dry enough to wear the same shoes at 2pm to take my neighbours dog Holly a walk in the sunshine.
well done to you and your neighbour, Sue! Although it doesn’t sound much fun running into the wind. And I was laughing thinking of you meeting people in your pyjamas!
Lucky really that Willow wasn't here, we didn't used to wear them 🤣🤣🤣 The run was great thanks and it's always fun running into the wind, just hard work 😀 it's been windy for weeks here
Love the photos with waves and clouds! The cat is stunning but what a cheek- I guess when you look that stunning you feel entitled to a welcome wherever you go!I didn't run today but had a very soggy doggy walk of the everything in the machine when you get home variety. Instead of waves there was just still water and mud as the tide was out. Although I missed my run I am so thankful to be walking the dog again . This time 2 weeks ago she was so poorly even the birds landing in the garden were safe and I truly thought we had had our final walk so missed runs and soggy clothes, shoes and mucky car fine by me! The run will wait til tomorrow, hopefully along the footpath we discovered when walking today !
Dog walks really are the best aren't they? And such a worry when they are too poorly to enjoy a walk. Was a bit if a cheek to think he could just come in, it was the only open window for miles around so I guess he thought he'd explore. I'm rediscovering my love of the sea, in any weather, the last few years I've only been to the beach in nice weather, it's great to see how different it is each time.
Lovely run (let’s forget the wind) and what a gorgeous cat. He’d be welcome to join my menagerie! My friend had two Bengals and they truly are stunning. 😍 My two cats are moggies, but beautiful all the same. ❤️
It was a lovely run thanks, it's so hard not to go again this morning. I might go for a bit of a walk as the sea is amazing. I think all cats are beautiful, Parker is black, and he's a very handsome boy, the Bengal is a bit unusual. So makes him standout.
