Here are the lucky shorts in question - the 'mambo' from SturdybyDesign. I was propelled into buying them by Flick's recent recommendation and accidentally bought a top to go with them. Lovely deep waistband, no riding up in awkward places (like my other shorts) and positively groovy!
Why lucky? Well I had only managed two 3k uphill killer runs at 7am in Greece over the last 2 weeks and expected my first run back home to be rubbish. The mambos however had other ideas and pushed me on to do 5k in 34.12 - a time which I haven't seen for several months! (I think my pace has slowed overall on the 10k plan but am ok with slow & steady for that). I suspect those hills (which were also walked up regularly) plus swimming & snorkeling everyday may have given the old pins a work out too though.
So the picture is a request from Flick - headless cos the photographer claimed you could see more of the shorts that way!

I have the matching top with my aurora capris and love it; so comfortable and looks really good. Brilliant tan you have there too Missus! Shame we can't see your face - all your photographer had to do was stand further away
