I haven’t posted for quite a while. Nothing to say really, other than whinge & moan about the heat. So I thought I’d just pop in to say I’m still here, reading and enjoying all your posts. I know it has affected us all, I find it practically impossible to run in the heat. I tried the treadmill at the gym and that was almost as bad.
I have managed 1 or 2 runs a week, not great. I even managed 5k last week but instead of feeling triumphant I was thoroughly disappointed. Having to walk a few times my time was 44 minutes. relive.cc/view/h10000880819 My relive run
So I have decided, now it seems to be getting a little cooler, although humidity was 81% this morning, I am going back to consolidation runs. My 1st 30 minute run this morning (unfortunately with a 90 second walk half way through) was ok’ish. There is no rush for me to reach any goals, I shall just carry on taking it slow and enjoy it until the day I feel ready for ju-ju’s b210k, which I will, one day haha
