Coming out of recovery

My 5th 5k (5.5k tonight) and at last my calves feel ok enough to let me start pushing the distance instead of very slow recovery 5k’s. 🐌

Looking forward to park run on Saturday, but I’m not pushing for a sub 30 finish until I’m more confident with more miles under my belt! 🧘🏻‍♂️🤪

That’s right, don’t go too mad and undo your recovery ( wish I took my own advice sometimes)🤣

Interesting to see your not too far from me. I'm in swavesey and run round there, you do the wimpole park run I assume? I need to give that a go and also run the longer routes some time to get some hill experience hehe as I'm doing the wimpole HM in October, are you?

Yes I’ve done wimpole twice now, and think it will be a regular thing for me going forward. I’ll need to check if I’ll be ready for the HM - I may need a bit more practice!
