We are all so busy.....life can be hectic ........and even more so for us runners!
Fear not, here is a place to take five, and enjoy a chat about our running adventures, trials, tribulations, successes, achievements etc.
Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.
If you're a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi, without the pressure of a full post.
Wishing you all a happy , healthy and well hydrated week,
Oldfloss, Ju-ju, Realfoodieclub, Bluebirdrunner and me..Millsie-J. Enjoy X

Well, having done a new 10k route on Saturday and a new PB for pace (only 3k!) today, I'm planning to celebrate by heading off to my local running shop this weekend, to buy some new running shoes. I do actually need them, the ones I got a few of weeks into C25K are wearing out, particularly an issue as I under-pronate, so they tend to wear at the heel and the outside edge.
What is wrong with me? I look forward to long runs now, in fact, I couldn't wait to do last Saturday's 10k, and I'm even looking forward to shoe shopping. I hardly recognise myself from the person I was a year ago. I think it's a change for the better though.
I've had a few rest days because of a peroneal tendon problem and I got up early this morning to run 5km in the French heat. I picked a route that I hadn't run before and I was so disappointed. It was steep and blocked with tree trunks and rocky dried out river beds. I had to stop lots to check Runkeeper as I kept getting lost. I was just about to give up and a handsome runner passed me with a "Bonjour" so i decided to follow him He led me to a more runable track and I finished my 5.5km and was back in time for breakfast. I was VERY slow but I did it! In the bank and no niggles yet.
