Brave of you to keep going, like your name, Upagumtree, you were nearly up that tree with you continuing to run despite twisting your knee, must have been very uncomfortable, give it a good rest and wait until it is completely better before resuming with week 7.
Knee still painful, so I’ll take it easy for a couple of days. Going to the gym doesn’t hurt me, so I’ll carry on with just gym for a few days. Boring 😏
That's a bit like me, I can do every other exercise under the sun such as push-ups, sit-ups, yoga planks and kettlebell exercises, but because I have a sore hip, I cannot run, the faster I run, the sorer it gets, so the running will have to take a break for now, I'll just keep doing those other exercises instead.
Hope the knee is ok.
I’ve been weather forecast watching and I could be tempted to go for my next long run on Sunday when it’s supposed to be cooler and a bit breezy! I’ve still got gym Friday and Saturday; but it’s very tempting.
Just entered my evidence for my first ‘Race at your Pace’ medal, only 25 miles even though I ran more. Might wait until Wednesday 01 August though for the next long run, because I want to do the 50 miles challenge.
Fingers crossed!
Great stuff, good luck. You will smash it x
