Second run post-graduation

Today I headed out for my second run since graduating Couch to 5K. Armed with my Garmin forerunner 35 (graduation gift!) I set out with the intention on doing a 3.5k. Felt so good I kept going when I hit 3.5k. I loved being able to check instantly how far I’d run, pace etc (I’m a stat freak!!). Ended up running 6k 👍😊. I know I need to take it steady and not over do it but 10k really is possible, I think? 🤔🤞🏻

Yeah the Garmin app becomes addictive. I find myself checking stats I’d never even heard of before. I’m even checking my steps while I’m on the IC!!! Did nearly 5000 a couple of days ago!! Cannot wait to get this boot off!!

I have my daughter as a Connection so I used to sit and check my stats against hers 🤣

That 10K is well within reach. Just add 10% (or less- never more) a week. Well done ☺️
