First run of 10k

Evening all - 10k journey starts tommorow. I'm running 3x5k per week at the min since graduating with a local C25K group. I'm going to kick off my training with my parkrun 5k, can the weekly runs be done in any order? Would suit me to do my 5k as a parkrun, the longer with my Tuesday run group and then the shorter run on a Thursday. Look forward to checking in with you all - bye for now 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Good luck with you journey. Yes the 3 runs can be done in any order. Enjoy

I understand they can. In fact Ju-Ju isn't all that fond of hard and fast rules, so you'll see a lot of strange and unusual plans going on alongside the standard plan. Good luck with the Parkrun tomorrow. 😊

Thanks lovely!

Well done you, sounds like you've been doing all the right things, all the best, I promise, you will amaze yourself!

For what it's worth, I was planning to do my 5ks as parkruns, but it didn't quite fit in like that with work schedule. Sounds like a great idea though.

Thank you, I've made some lovely friends from the local C25K I completed so we all support each other which is fab. I'll keep coming to this forum as it's so friendly and it's great to get to know how others are doing. Have a good day 😊
