Early running with Peggy59

Promised Peggy I'd be out running at 6am in solidarity with her. Ashamed to say I didn't make it out till 6:45, I hope we overlapped somewhere in the running ether.

Another long hot road with so little shade. I started to feel like I needed a pitstop at 10k but annoyingly the fancy guided busway toilets at the station 10k in are locked on a Sunday morning.. What use is that grr. So the final 5k became about managing a situation. I did fit in some trail noodling at the end and also made sure I was near a handy hedge 😅👍. Saw the to let sign 200m from home. Oh my kingdom for an I lol. Made it back thankfully #imodium

Good lad getting out and knocking out 15k! I am in awe. It was a hot morning, wasn’t it? I needed a pee at around 4K this morning, but held on and it went away. Must have sweated it out (euch!! Does it even work like that?!)

Needing a pit stop is so much easier for you men than us women so think yourself lucky. I live in fear of being caught short when too far from home...

Well it can be busy where I run, so you find yourself a nice bush to s&*^ in and all of a sudden you have a girl scout pack or a bunch of japanese tourists sticking their oar in your business hehe

Hi! Pink thanks for running with me and whow wasI out before you! Apologies first and foremost I got your name wrong,got the pink part right but the rest I completely messed up so sorry! Hope you can recognise the post.

It was great to run with you but sadly I trailed off a over 7k. So I’m sure you went further. We’ve got to do this again as it’s such an incentive for me. I think if you know that some one is going to run with you virtually or other wise you don’t want to let them down and it makes you get out there,so cheers for that👍👏😀😀

Hi Fionn! Yes please that would be great. I try and get out as early as I can because of the heat and it’s rather peaceful at that time of day. However normally I go at about 8 ish so anytime please virtually runalong side me😀😀x

This virtual run malarkey I’ve only started to do and I find it’s a great incentive to get up and go! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

So Breakfast Trotters, are we going out tomorrow morning for a run with the larks? I’ve just checked the weather forecast for to and it looks like 16 or 17 degrees is the coolest I’m going to get, and that starts shooting upwards from about 8am so I need to be back and sipping my coffee by then. I’m aiming to do my 6 to 7k - ish trail route as it has a bit more shade than the lanes run.

Shall we say rendezvous at 7am? It is that too late for you early birds?!

I’m going to try and do further than last time. I’m hoping for 10k but I don’t know. I’ll go as far as my feet will let me hee!🏃‍♀️ then home for coffee and toast yum! 🍞☕️!!😀😀
