Was supposed to go to the gym tonight for some hill repeats on the treadmill. Fell asleep. Woke at 7:10pm. Decided to scrap it. Then stressed out for 30 minutes about not doing running so decided to go and run around the local roads and do a 3km: something at least. Went out steady and slow and quite enjoyed it! Kept going on longer ways home so to add more distance and did over 6k in the end. No speed really but I’m proud I did it after nearly writing the night off which would’ve annoyed me for quite some while. 👍🏽
Next run: pacers’ week at the ParkRun and my first race on Sunday - the local 5k 🤗
