I love the quiet and solitude of an early morning run. I’m managing nearly 8km and enjoying the longer distances.
A lovely parkrun in the morning to finish off a good week of running. I’m hoping I can get a sub 38 minute parkrun? The last few ones have been late 38s or even 39s so I hoping the longer distances I e done for the past week or so will help me do a faster 5k.

That does look lovely. I like the early morning runs too, before the traffic starts up and before the world is awake.
I was very much an evening runner through winter for the same reasons.. I love the solitude and quiet. But the daylight has forced me to go out early and that ain't bad either 😊. So you have run 8k this morning and your doing a 5k Park run?

Lovely post and I am so with you there..... I love the solitude of an early morning run. I should be out there now but my sister won’t let me get her up till 7.15 which is so late for me!!!
Glorious! I have only ever run in the morning. I just love the freshness of a new day. I live in London, so also love that rare feeling of being the only person around. In the winter, when it was still dark, it felt even more magical (and a bit spooky!)

Definitely, even London is peaceful at 6:00am in the morning. I love the smell of the front gardens this time of year.

What a beautiful photo! Have only just go in from a run and now want to be out again running somewhere like that!
I know am lucky being able to run in the countryside around my home. Makes those tough runs a little easier.
