Longest run so far today. Didn't enjoy my Monday run, only 2.5k went too fast and listened to all the advice before doing today's run. It went fantastic, my goal was to do 5.5k and with the rain belting down, keeping the pace comfortable, felt good and finished off doing 6.5k (4miles) in 37 mins. Only problem was I had to walk back home 2m through farmers fields that had grown a foot higher due to the torrential rain I was now drowning in! Great day, keep on running.

Running in the rain can be very refreshing. A cap is a boon ๐
I always have a thin run jacket to pop on for the walk home. You get very chilled once youโve stopped running, if you are wet through. Iโve got a lightweight hooded one, which I can tie round my waist til needed
Best get used to running in the rain as itโs something youโll need to do a lot of ๐
Love the rain for running just feels great but not so much the walk home, will have to get a thin jacket to carry wi me, thanks
Thatโs a fantastic pace!
Must admit, running has made me like rubbish weather! Currently looking outside at the drizzle and thinking how perfect it is for exercise!
Well done!
Yep not bad pace but only one long hill then mostly down hill and flat. I will have to drop pace down to do 10k I was at my limit at 4m at that speed. Just love the rain though โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ Bring it on I say.
Blimey, Speedy! I was so happy to look out on a cool grey morning today- what has happened to me
