W7R1 very foggy out there!

Lincolnshire coast enshrouded once again in sea fog, plus windy. Strangely the wind isn’t even move the fog. On the plus side I’ve enjoyed the run and watched the waves. Couldn’t run along the waterline as tide was in. Looking forward to R2!

sounds good, even with sea fog 😃 you only need go slowly so you can pick your way. It could be clear as a bell 100 yards down the road 😁

Running on the sands on the foreshore is gorgeous so lucky you 😃👍

I like the Lincs coast, what bits, I’ve seen. There are some lovely wilderness bits. You can be half a mile from the hubbub of Mabelthorpe yet feel completely alone. I’m up near there shortly for the Race for Life

I am up here visiting my parents this week so am enjoying the sea air. I’m planning another run early Friday morning and then I’ll be heading South to go home. Good luck with the Race for Life 👍🏃‍♀️🏅

I love rural Lincs. It’s got loads going for it. The race is sponsored by Batemans, who I was fortunate to stumble onto, on one of my bimbles around. Bought some beer to make malt loaf 😋. There is an unspoilt beach near there at Huttoft
