Pacers Week at the ParkRun this week. So busy as it’s a fast course and people must’ve come to try for a PB. It nearly killed me. I needed at sub 32.5 pacer to get under 32:32 but they only had pacers for every other .5 minute so I kept the 31.5 pacer in sight. Went off too fast. My pace throughout was too fast. Had to stop at 4.5k for a few seconds - I’ve never ever had to stop before EVER, even when running 10k. I hope that doesn’t psychologically negatively impact on me in the future. Nonetheless I got a PB and did 32:01. I know I could’ve sprinted down the home strait and gone sub 32. So that’s annoying. But I’ll do that next time! 😂💪🏽

Hey, that’s fantastic and a great photo too. I wouldnt let stopping put you off. i never stop either, except tbe odd photo or crossing a busy road, and that’s rare (i took the main photo in my today’s post as I ran), but people say it’s ok to walk or stop. Well done xx
