Over the past few months I’ve occasionally felt a pain in the top of my right foot. Shoes are fine and not too tightly laced so don’t think it’s them.
Don’t usually feel if when running but today got the occasional sharper pain (usually more of a dull pain).
Any thoughts? Can’t seem to locate the exact site as pressing my foot doesn’t hurt.
I’m on holiday next week so I’m going to leave a larger gap between runs and possibly not run at all depending how it feels. Hopefully that will sort it.

I have had a similar thing for a few months now. The strange thing is it mostly seems fine when actually running, which I suppose is a good thing as its not stopping me running. We may have totally different problems of course but I found this on youtube and although I have only been trying it for a few days it does seem to be helping - youtube.com/watch?v=9ffu6kL...
How's the foot? . . . I've been using a Lacrosse Massage Ball, not only as in the youtube video but underneath my foot as well. Finger crossed, it does seem to be working.
Foot not really better but no worse either. Been away for a week without access to most of my gear and not been doing the stretches but will hit them with a vengeance now I’m back. Done stretches today and will see if they help over the week. Might need to get a lacrosse massage ball - improvising at the moment.
Sorry, can't help with lock laces but have you tried tying your laces differently? (Yes, there are many different ways!) Try this link below for starters.🙂
