Not sure what I've done but the ball of my left foot feels as if there is a stone in my shoe all the time. It's not really painful, more tender and uncomfortable. I can run on it (did about 5k this morning) but the discomfort seems to be spreading to the underside of my toes. I haven't tried any medication yet as (a) I don't like self treating unless absolutely necessary and (b) it's not really that painful at the moment.
Any explanations and advice very welcome as to what it is and how to manage it. Thanks in advance, wonderfully supportive people.

Or medical so can’t offer that sort of advice but have you checked to make sure it’s not a bit of hard skin - I’ve had a problem in the past with it when wearing certain shoes and a visit to chiropodist sorted it out nicely! At times it felt as though I had a pea in the ball of my foot and it was very uncomfortable! Hope you get your foot sorted soon!
