I'm in the middle of C25K and have read a lot about people bridging to 10k using various apps, plans, JuJu etc etc but I have a more fundamental question.
After completing C25K (because I will!!) is it ok to immediately start the journey to 10k in week 10? or is better to try and stabilise at 5k/30 minutes for n months?
Thanks

I can only offer my opinion (not factually based) but think it certainly wouldn't harm to do a bit of both, increase your distance on one run and increase your pace (perhaps just at the 5K) on another. Both will benefit you, just take it easy!
It's best to consolidate your 30 minute runs before going for increased speed or distance. If you do too much too soon, you could end up over stretching yourself.
C25k+ stepping stones podcasts, and Ju Ju 10 is the magic number can be used post c25k. It’s up to you. Go steady though! Do too much too soon at your peril. Take it slow and have some fun 💪👍😀
Thank you both. Agree on the stronger vs faster. I was more thinking about while I'm getting used to extending my non stop segment, was there any harm in just continuing to do that via something like JuJu's plan or further interval segments 3 x 10 min, 3 x 12 mins etc with 1-2 minute walking.
At all times I've listened to my body's various aches and groans - and there are plenty of those at 46!
Thanks Miss W - I had a hunt on iTunes and the web thingy, and couldn't find a site or podcast anywhere. Managed to find a thread on here that contained a link to the podcasts in another users personal dropbox. I am not responsible for the content, but here is the link if anyone else like me is starting to think about this:
It was originally posted 4 years ago, but the link still works and you can download a zip file with the audios in (Apparently the quality of the first one is a bit naff, but the others are ok)
The music is all original and there’s tons of it. All picked especially to pick you up and or inspire. Much of the music was new to me but I love most of it I posted up the track listing On here ages ago Of I’ve still got it in Word i’ll Re-post it
I love Sami podcasts I would do,Stepping Stones and Ju jU and then Sami
I graduated last week and am following the advice to consolidate for 3 weeks to get stronger before moving on. I did my first Parkrun last week and it felt a bit strange doing my 5 minute brisk walk while everyone was running but once I started running I was overtaking and was strong for the 30 minutes. My distance was better than my W9R3 with the same effort . So onwards and upwards at a careful pace.
