10k done!!!!

Started Ju Ju’s 10 k plan a while back, got a bit lost when it was too hot, or too wet, or too busy. Went out this evening with a vague plan of doing 8k and then kept on going! 10.01km, 1.24mins, very slow I know but I can’t tell you how pleased I am. They way I feel at the moment it could be my first, last and only 10k cos I’m shattered but I wasn’t planning on doing any races! Just want to keep fit. Who knows, 5k might be a breeze from now on! As a couch to 5k starter in January this year I can’t believe I’ve just run that far. All I need now is a badge! I would put my route up here if I knew how, it’s all on my posh new Garmin watch ( which I bought with the intention of keeping me running to justify the expense).

Well done. I am a great believer in vague plans! I did something similar... vague plan to do about 7km and then. "hm feels OK may as well......"

Brilliant, well done. I did exactly the same thing, 8 somehow became 10. Must be something about the number 8! Mind you, the 4k I did yesterday felt like 10k, ugh, so I think I’ll stick to the 8k on the plan for the weekend!

Well done! I bet you do it again! I’ve done 3 now abs they do seem to get marginally easier each time, but they’re so long!

Congratulations!

Well done! I bought proper trainers for exactly the same reason as your Garmin 😂

Well done. And you are quicker than me - my 11k the other day took me 1hr 50min, though it was a hilly route. 5k seems like nothing now, and you will soon find the same x

Congratulation, well done. You should be well chuffed with yourself especially starting off in January.
