Friday night ended up putting a stop to Saturday’s park run (🥂🙊) so I decided to take myself out this morning instead. The plan was to run for 30 mins and see how I felt.
Turns out I felt good enough to run for the full 10K!!!
I can’t actually believe I did it! I’ve never run that far before, having just got the hang of 5ks, I thought it might be a stretch too far.
I got to 5k felt good and just carried on, and carried on!
Anyway, I got to the end and felt ok, apart from a real lack of energy. I now need to learn how to fuel myself if I’m going to keep trying these longer runs.
I’ve got the Vitality 10K coming up next month, so it’s good to know I can actually do the distance
