Mad dogs and Englishmen + an Italian

Another hard run with the club at work this lunchtime. Our coach Matt was in a sadistic mood today and pushed the pace. We were joined by Stefano, who has apparently been absent from the lunch run for several months. Not sure if Matt was trying to put him off coming again, or trying to get him to join us more often to build his fitness up........

I just missed my 5k PB as we ended up looping just before the 5k was up, which was a shame. Nevermind.

Anyway, half an hour has passed since I collapsed into my chair and took on 2 pints of water, and I'm just starting to feel good again :)

Jeez; was Matt upset about something and venting on you guys?

Well done; how you get any work done after that is amazing too! 👍🏽

I think he was just showing off. Ran me to the point of exhaustion and then just skipped ahead as if he was out for a gentle jog!

Wow, sounds like a tough run. My run ended in disaster today and a trip to the L&D. 😢
