Staying in Derbyshire for a couple of days over my birthday, having a lovely relaxing time, a lot of walking but also managed to fit in a quick 3k run along the lovely lanes here. Off for birthday dinner soon. Happy running to all!

I was walking in the Peak District yesterday, but the Cheshire end from Nelson Pit in Poynton, round Lyme Park and back along the Macclesfield Canal. My 21 year old daughter also walked and did yoga every now and again. She’s bonkers.🤣
Thoroughly spoilt, thanks Jan. I'm home now and going to try a local fun run tomorrow, it's about 4k. I have walked a lot this weekend without any pain but as soon as I break into a run I get this twinge (I can't really call it a pain now) in my hip/groin. Quite strange 🤔
