I’m beginning to understand the appeal of running outside. Managed a short one outside this morning. Lovely being able to smell fresh air and feel like spring is here. Happy running everyone 😊

I must admit I was walking round the kitchen a few times trying to make myself get into my running gear - once in it seemed stupid not to!

Just looking at my running shoes does it for me.

Couldn't agree more. Maybe for some people but I avoid dreadmills at all costs. Nothing beats running in the open air

Well I have been using them a lot and I find it a lot easier but when the weather is like this you cant beat it. I'm just not going as far. :-)

Hehe, the tang of horse crap helps too.

Haha Its amazing how a lungful of that sharpens the senses! Havent ever used it as a motivator before tho :-)

Funny I know, but I enjoy all the outdoor smells, there is a house I run past that uses particularly nice wood in their log burner, or the house that makes a good smelling curry, the smell of the sheep in the field and the silage on the fields.. it all paints a wonderful outdoorsy tapestry that helps make you feel glad to be out in it. Another reason I refuse the dreadmill, they just smell of week old jockstrap.. some people seem to like it though.

Great photo. Got out at 6am today and was warm enough (just) for shorts and t-shirt for the first time.
