If I'd been feeling competitive this would have been a crap run. I simply have no energy at the moment, but who cares when you get to run through fields, alongside streams and around lakes. It was overcast at first - in fact I was cold in my T-shirt - but about half way through the sun came out. The angling club was out in force (again) taking all the cool spots around the lake, but this guy looked so peaceful staring out across the water I just had to photograph his back! And I saw deer on the fields, squirrels, birds galore and enjoyed the sound of the stream gurgling and lapping next to me (or was that my water bottle?). Everything is so green and young at the moment, flowers everywhere, it lifts the spirits!
Another 13k under my belt - and I came back feeling happy.
