Oooh, new Mondetta running tights!

So I just popped in to TK Maxx, as you do, on the way to the park and ride bus home and during my idle ‘I’m really not looking for anything but a quick look at the sports goodies can’t hurt’ stroll around the shop, I came across a rare pair of my favourite Mondetta leggings.

Only £19.99, so not EVEN £20!

And my old faithfuls have a teensy weensy hole in them.

And I get up and do my 5k very early this morning despite a warm and cosy bed and no need to get up for another half hour.

So I do REALLY deserve them don’t I? 🤭😬🙄

I cant work out how to add a pic from the app but here’s a bit of the flashy detail - there’s a narrow panel running down each leg with beige material behind the black cutwork. I’m less fussed about that than the weight of the fabric and the cut. Mondetta ones are heavier weight fabric without being thick and they are cut well around the gusset so avoiding the dreaded camel’s toe effect 🤭😬!!

You *need* them.

Can you imagine the damage to HU's reputation - to C25K's reputation - if you continue to run in leggings with a hole in them? Have you considered what happens if the hole grows and spreads? While you are out running? The risk!

These leggings are not a treat, or a present. They are a justified expense. Claim the tax back on them

Ooh, you are so right, and I could have done so much damage to so many reputations if I hadn’t ‘done the right thing’.

Phew, I narrowly avoided that massive faux pas. I sincerely hope that everyone else will learn from my near miss and work harder to ensure they don’t make the same almost mistake as me!
