Well I could only run on tread this am as we’ve still got loads of snow and as I go off track there was no way I could do it.
Anyway only managed to run just over 5k as have ankle trouble ( think it’s slightly stained tendons ? ) Anyway put tread onto 1% and managed to do the run without any pain. Yesterday I couldn’t do that so had to abandon the run. But today was better.
However I stop not quite doing 6k but I think that’s ok and I shall start my third week Tuesday.What do you folks think?
Finally very sad news about Sir Roger Bannister . A great runner,legend and man RIP.
Yes thanks ! I have been doing that and it seems to be improving. On standing up and walking after resting for a while it was almost like a tightness and was extremely painful. However after raising the incline on tread today there is an improvement also tiger balm is helping too.
Well done on your run and if you are having some niggles perhaps take an extra day’s rest and then see how it is? Then do one of the shorter runs to see how it is? Yes really sad about Roger, he was a legend...
Many thanks ju ju. At work tomorrow so I’ll probably rest Tuesday. I will do a smaller run after Tuesday. Infact I think maybe the first one of the third week is a short one.
