That would be great Floss, I've not been to Rome, have ridden/driven down to the Italian lakes and down to Piza then across to Rimini..

I wonder how big the Rome Parkrun will get? could be a big turnout as not many PRs in that local area..

Sorry, I missed this Helene, yes, been a biker and toured down through France over the Swiss Alps and to the Italian lakes, stayed at Lake Maggiore for a week..then went back and stayed in the French Alps for a week, so had views overload🗻 was a fantastic trip! 😊

What a wonderful route, truly spectacular - probably some of the best scenery in Europe.

My husband and I used to travel by motorbike to places like Tuscany and Sicily, and of course also places closer to Rome - but that was all pre-kids 🙄

This is brilliant as we have no Parkruns anywhere near here. There are several in other cities but they still have a poor turnout. Rome has loads of runners so I'd love to see this take off and hope it will.

On the sad side of things, I work a 6 day week... So I'm in the office on Saturday mornings 😭

But if/when I get the odd Saturday off, I will be there!

Love the idea of the Brit contingent taking over the Rome parkrun! We should do it!! 🇬🇧🇮🇹
