Intervals! My word! There should be an emoji to describe what I’m now going to call my “interval face”. Not pretty ha ha.

Hope it’s going well with everyone else x

I don't enjoy the intervals. I managed the faster pace but as my legs are short I found the slower pace really difficult- it's really hard to run at a slower pace than what your body naturally wants to do. I find the stamina run much better :)

I always put off doing interval training - yet when I do it I have an absolute blast and love it. I think that not letting yourself settle into an even pace and rolling with it can seem irksome but then intervals can make you feel like a kid playing outside, which is great.

I haven’t attempted the intervals yet - in fact I decided not to attempt running outside

Today as it felt cold (wimpy I know) I ran on the treadmill. I say that likes it’s unusual - actually most of my runs are that way. But I did put a slight gradient on - thanks for the tip @TedG

Due to the fact that I accidentally pulled the emergency cord (ahem!) and had to restart, it became my long run at 7.7k. I did walk a couple of times for short intervals but it felt like a good powerful run. 😊. Happy with that one. Will be trying the intervals on Thursday. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
