ju ju’s 10k quest.

Hi everyone. Well yesterday I completed the 5K /3miles,which was my second run of the week. It was a glorious day even though it was very cold. However I soon warmed up! I even had to wear my running leggings which I haven’t done for a while as I normally just wear my knee length shorts which enables the animals to see my white chicken legs approaching hee!hee!

The run itself felt better so I assume that I’m getting stronger again!

Today is supposed to be a rest day but I’m tempted to do some interval training hmm!

Looks like you have a few hilly bits to contend with from your elevation, good for building up those calves I bet. I'm lucky/unlucky take your pick in that it's very flat where i'm at.

Yes it’s definitely hilly! What I would give for more flat bits! I have to drive out to the Forest of Dean or similar places for that wee luxury! and that’s miles away. However it is beautiful where I live and wouldn’t swap it for the world.

At the moment part of my run is through a field of inquisitive sheep so that’s different. I think they think their going to get fed.Alas! there is only jelly beans in me pocket hee! hee!🤣🤣

Ooh, sheep are a bit of a hazard. As are pile of horse poo as I found out last night in the dark, managed to style it out though :)

Good for the roses horse poo apparently ha!

Another hill billy here. I long for flat bits just to see how much faster my pace would be - but think how much stronger we are getting than the wusses who live in flat areas ;)

Exactly Flick! I long for flat bits too for that very reason, but at least we are getting stronger! 💪🏃

it's true. Hills are good training but they drive you mad with the relentlessness of them. I'm in Derbyshire and yearn for a bit of flat. I go to the canal when I can be bothered Mind you that's out of bounds at the mo as it's a quagmire, as is my beloved trail.

It isn't even the really steep ones either, but those long ones that go on forever and dont look that steep till you are toiling away up them...

How very true Flick! But you know we’ll have the best calves in the sticks hee! hee!🤪🤪
