Morning all. I downloaded an app called couch to 10K. As I’d like to move on from week 9 properly. But it doesn’t talk to me so I don’t know where I’m up to!! Any advice as I cannot work out if I’m using the app wrong or it’s not the right app. I was supposed to be running 10 walking 1 x4 but I nearly tripped up trying to watch the phone. I miss Michael!!!

There is no official c2k10 app, as in there is no NHS sponsored app or podcast, There are a number of other apps of varying quality. Our very own ju-ju runs a programme to get you to 10k though, link is in the side bar or follow here. healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...
They have just started last week so it's a good time to join them.
Upvote for ju-ju's "10 is the magic number" plan - it is distance based (though she has mentioned a time version so you could ask about that) so you can use any of the tracking apps or map your route in advance. Check out the latest threads (hard to link on phone but it should be there in pinned posts).
However, if you want to use an app, is it that zenlabs 10k app? It should talk to you, I thought... uninstall/reinstall?
Strava's chappy will verbally update you every half kilometre and advise about pace as you run interrupting your own music etc x
