Hiya and welcome to a new week.

Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.

If youre a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi without the pressure of a full post.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy week,

Juju, Realfoodieclub, Oldfloss, Millsie-J and Jan-now-runs

Good morning, hope everyone is well, still struggling a little with health issues but managed to get out this morning for a short run as I don't want to stop completely.

Going to escape the snow and ice of Finland this week with a few days in Rome. Have already planned a couple of runs along the Tiber! Weather won't be great but will be 20 degrees warmer than Helsinki!

Just started Ju-Jus 10K plan - nice 2.5k today - I think I might just have learnt the benefit of a Recovery run!!

Going to get my ankle x-rayed this morning just in case, following Bazza1234 's advice when he saw the photo of the bruising and said it looked like his broken bone bruising :( Given that I am supposed to be doing a 10k round Carsington on Sunday and there are few extraction points if my ankle gives any trouble, I thought I might just ask the Minor Injuries Unit to take a quick look first. I hope I'm not wasting their time :(

Still running alternate days. With one longish run next week I'm still on target for February i.e. to run further than the 51 miles in January.

Back to it this week after a week skiing last week. My fitbit is playing up and won't synch to Strava so my records aren't really up to date. I didn't fancy running in the rain on Monday so did half an hour on the treadmill and the fitbit did actually recognise I was running...did a really fast 8k last night for me (probably helped by having a week off). Next run on Saturday morning - not sure how far at the moment.
