Received my first medal this week for running 25 miles in January. I managed 40 miles in the end which Iβm really happy with but disaster has struck and Iβm now full of flu π€§
Iβve not ran for ages due to visiting friends and then the dreaded lurgy arriving. Feel like Iβve been battered with a baseball bat! May have to start really carefully when I can manage a run again...

Sympathy re the flu - I am struggling to get going again after that. I keep thinking I am better, go out for a cautious run/walk and then back come the symptoms. π¦ Take care & get well soon.
Sounds like time to be horizontal with a little single malt! Take care xx
Well done, it is lovely bling. Last January I did a marathon in a month, i.e. ran 26 miles. This was not long after my graduation. A year later and I have my 50 mile medal for January having run 67 miles. Next year you will be such a different runner. The flu will slow you down but not for long. Take it easy and plan your next bling!
