Got my first virtual medal today and am very proud. although my son found it amusing that I got myself a trophy for running. The virtual medal was for running 9 3/4 km or miles in August. Iwas confident of doing 9 3/4 km so did that on 1st Aug and then thought I might give miles ago. Which I achieved last Saturday.
Virtual running might not be everyone's cup of tea but money for charity I'd not a bad thing and it helped me achieve a goal. I would also recommend doing challenges on Strata. Having a goal helps with motivation and the feeling you get when you achieve it is awesome my next goal I'd half marathon in August on strata - fingers crossed for that one

Well done! Ignore your son. My 17yo mocked me until he decided to train for a 10k with me. He JUST about managed 2.8k with breaks. Mock ye not as Frankie Howard would say. 😂
Nice bling! I like to enter one now and again as Im not too keen on actual events so helping charity while helping me keep motivated what’s not to like 😀.
Wonderful! Good for you - the promise of bling can be a great motivator and as you say, when some of the money goes to charity, it's a win-win situation😀.
