But thought I'd best stop lurking and say hello to the 10k Bridge folks! A pleasure to be joining y'all!
Managed run 3 of ju ju's 10k programme tonight. It was the 2.5k run and as suggested I tried the speed c25k+ speed podcast as an introduction to intervals.
Wasn't as bad as I feared it might be and i'm glad to say I managed to run through it although I was slowing on the last fast section and sure glad when it stopped even though it was only 16mins.
Looking forward to starting on wk2 on Monday.

Its an up to 10k plan Flick, you ideally should be running 5k with ease before attempting to up your distance. The usual route is to consolidate your 30 min runs for a few weeks, and get comfortable doing that, then once you're managing 5k could consider the 10k plan..
No that's fine - I'm not trying to attempt 10k yet. fat chance round here with the hilly bits. I was intending to keep doing the 30 minute runs for now till my speed and distance improve. I didn't realise the program was for 5-10k
