I haven’t ran since my 10K last Sunday - but alarm set and up early on Bank Holiday Monday as I’m doing a 7,605k run in aid of PC Harper’s memory (7605)

The length of the run denotes Andrew’s warrant number and thank you to the person who posted this on the forum yesterday as I quickly signed up for such a great cause and very close to my heart.

Completed 7.8k in just over an hour and it was already hot at 7.30am so glad I didn’t leave it any later 😅

Well done to everyone who also completed this run and to remember that Andrew Harper gave his life to protect the public.

Thanks, it’s mostly been me, the tv and a big fan lol. Hope you’ve had a great weekend too. Between the weather and other stuff I think it’ll be Thursday or Friday before I get out again 😩

Bring on the cooler weather so we can get back to normal....although quite nice to have a bit of “you and tv” time too x

Well done RunRunRun! I shared this link yesterday and was also out at 7.30am this morning! If you are on Facebook (I'm not but my OH is), it is worth popping onto their page to see all the photos and tributes people have posted -really quite moving.💕

We did it at the same time, wasn’t it warm even at that early hour. Such a shame as I’m not on facebook, I did try to have a look but can’t see anything unless you have an account.

Yep, it was warm - I did as much of my run as I could in the shade!🙂

Well done - great achievement, that’s your furthest distance isn’t it ? Think a few of us on here were out at 7.30am - I was running, walking a bit, trying to find shade, sweating 🤣

But we did it !!!!!

Earliest I have ever ran! Furthest I have ever ran (only ran 6.5 km walked the rest) and PB for the 5 km in the middle. Also first 'race' as such. A day of firsts!!!

Ah, I wish I had known about this (I’ve been away in rural France - not much signal). Well done you for completing your run - for so many reasons... x x

Hello lovely !!! How’s the running going...hope your having a great getaway in France 🇫🇷 🍷

Yes I managed another long run (dragged myself out in the heat) all for a good cause and they raised £25,000 which is amazing from people running that day.

You still keeping motivated ? Mine is wavering 🤣

Wow! That figure is an amazing achievement. It’s good to know there’s still so much good in the world.

I hauled my skinny butt out running early on the Saturday morning when we were in France (after copious 🍷🥂🍷🥂 the night before). Around friends awarded me the ‘sanctimonious and smug’ award over breakfast... and happy with that, I’ve not been out since... 😬. MUST get myself back on track x x
