Today I started wk3 of Juju's 10k plan.

Started with the shorter 3.5k run, but why is it the shorter runs seem so much harder 🤔 Felt like really hard work today, even though the first 5-10 mins of any run I always find the hardest.

It was very cold and windy too!!

You are possibly not warming up sufficiently - and unconsciously thinking that "it is only 3.5K- I don't need to run slowly for that - I can run 5K! " :) A combination of those two things can be deadly :) Try doing a 1 klm warmup jog before running.

I'd been for a 30 min walk with my dog beforehand so counted that as my warm up walk.

It may have been I unconsciously think it's only 3.5k that's going to be easy?! 😂

My running is a slow jog so I don't think it would be possible to do a warm up jog? 🙄
